Mr. Tang received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Masters Degree in Chemical engineering from Mississipi State University. He was also awarded an Engineering Honor Membership with Tau Beta Pi.
Mr. Tang is licensed as a professional engineer with the State of California. Tang has totaled over 20 years of engineering practice with William Yang Associates in North Hollywood, HYC counsulting engineering in Diamond Bar, HC Yu Associate in Richmond, Virginia, Tom Brady Consulting Engineering in Chicago, Illinois, and his own practice in Alhambra. With HC Yu and Tom Brady, he completed Far Eastern Plaza Ice Storage Plant (6500 Peak Tons) in Taipei, NanKang Software Park Ice Storage Plant (7500 Tons) in NanKang, and West Zone District Cooling Plant in Beijing (a 14000 Ton Peak Load Ice Plant).
Ren Tang ahs devoted the past fifteen years to ice storage style HVAC system design. As a recognized expert in ice storage and HVAC system control, Tang is author of several patterns and articles in ice storage control adopted in large-scale HVAC systems of various high rise buildings.
