Mr. Lai has over 23 years of experience in geotechnical consulting, geologic exploration, fill control, and soils testing. He was the Project Engineering Geologist for various geotechnical and environmental projects in southern California. He was co-funder of MTC Engineering, Inc.(MTC), a geotechnical consulting firm in 1989 and became sole owner in 1992.
He is a Certified Engineering Geologiest, Nuclear Gage User, and Asbestos Building Inspector. He has Master Study in Engineering, Geology from New Mexico Tech and California State University, Los Angeles. He has a B.S. in Engineering, Geology from National Taiwan University if Oceanography.
