President's Message
To Each of Our CACP Members,
In the last 25 years, CACP has become a reputable trade association in the construction industry, thanks to the leadership of our past presidents and the dedication and commitment from our past directors, as well as the support from our members and sponsors.
All of us have goals in our lives and many dreams to achieve, and visions to aim for. Most of us are small minority business owners. Some of represent small minority businesses. And some of us work for big companies. No matter where we stand, everyone certainly strives to prosper in life. I seek to increase the chances for work opportunities to our members, give a guiding hand to those who need help, and support those who struggle through the process. Progress seems to come in small steps - probably not as fast as we would wish… and perhaps not quite as rewarding as we might want it to be. However, hard work, determination, and perseverance will always help us stay afloat.
Our theme for this year is “Changing Times.” In changing market and economic times, it is never more important that we must be united to help each other succeed. We must network, stay informed, and be ahead of the game at all times. We, as construction professionals, must join forces and stay together.
It gives me great pleasure and honor to be the 2008- 2009 President of CACP, my second term as your president and I accept the challenges put before me. I will represent CACP with the utmost dignity and enthusiasm and always keeping your interest in mind. I greatly appreciate your confidence in me.
One alone cannot do everything; it takes all of you to make things happen. Without our membership, there is no CACP. I encourage all construction professionals (architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, etc) to join us and be a part of the CACP family.
LUCIA TAM, REALTOR Ò
CACP PRESIDENT 2008- 2009
