Scholarship
The CACP scholarship program was setup in 1999 as part of CACP's effort to nurture the future construction professionals. Every year, CACP coordinates multiple scholarship are awarded to architecture and engineering students who have demonstrated great academi achievements and the potential to suceed in the construction profession. As of today, CACP has awarded thirty-eight (38) $1000, one (1) $2000 and three (3) $5000 scholarships to deserving recipents.
Funding
All scholarships are sponsored by construction-related exterprises and/or other corporations that has strong business relations with the Chinese development industry. To honor these generous sponsors, ease scholarship is named after the corporate name of that sponsor.
Eligibility
Applicant must be:
- A full-time junior, senior or graduate student in the majors of architecture, engineering, design and/or related construction fields.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher for the last two semesters or three quarters.
Please provide the following:
- Completed scholarship application form
- Transcript: The last two semester or three quarters
- Statement of Qualification: Brief essay why you are the best candidate for the scholarship.
- Two (2) Recommendation Letters
(All applications must be complete. Any incomplete applications will be disqualified.)
(Must be an offical transcript. Any unoffical and/or copies of the transcript will be disqualified.)
(Essay must be 500 words or less. Any essay above 500 words will be disqualified.)
(Recommendation letters must be from a professor and/or faculty member related to architecture, engineering and/or construction field related to your major.)
The complete application packagge must be received at the CACP office no later than 5:00PM DATE: June 1st 2009. DO NOT FAX your application package. Any application packages received via fax will be disqualified.

Selection Process
Applicants will be notified of the results via mail and email not later than Date: June 22nd 2009. Names of the recipients will be posted on our website and newsletter. The scholarships will be awarded at the CACP Annual Awards & Installation Banquet in the summer on Date: July 11th 2009. Recipients must attend the banquet and receive the award in person.
